Are maggots always hungry?

They seem to work hard at what they do.

Yes, they are voracious growing little fly larvae. They are very beneficial to the decomposition process in dead things, like Vultures they are natures undertakers.

Yes. They burn so much energy in transportation and consumption, and their bodies are so small, that they have to continue to east to provide them the energy to do their work.

They’re babies. Baby flies. Like babies everywhere, all their waking hours are consumed with eat and poo.

The only part of A Bug’s Life I found memorable was the circus scene, “STOP! You’re scaring the maggots!” I quote it and people look at me funnily funny.

I like the part where they fly says, ‘I got 24 hours to live, and I AIN’T spending it here!’ I use that line a lot and people look at me weird.

Maybe I need to revisit the movie, @cazzie. My initial expectations might have been too high, causing disappointment.
