Were you aware Answerbag is reopening its doors?

I was never there before, so probably not. I like it here in the lagoon just fine.

Plus, something about the suffix “bag”...

@RedDeerGuy mentioned it a few days ago. I’ll go have a look-see.

My account remains open unless i’ve been permanently chucked off for being a childish, immature, dirty birdy. Not been near the site in ages but i’m tempted to have a peek at the new shiny version, if only for old times sake.

I was not aware that AB was re-opening.
I will try the new version. Is Fluther getting new servers somehow related?

I hope someone reminds us closer to the opening date of 10–20.

I was a member a decade or so ago. Never really got the joy. Stuck with able2know since it had more of a community style that suited me.

Never was a member but am aware that it is reopening. Doesn’t really affect me.

@ibstubro I’m sure the new servers are not related: Fluther is not in competition with anything any more – just a quiet lagoon on the internet where some of us like to swim.

Never was on it but may give it a look-see. I’d also signed up with Quora once but never got into it. I guess I’m just used to Fluther.

I heard about it the other day. Early on, I liked the questions people asked, then it became more inane. I have a few people I used to talk to on there who I lost contact with when the site closed down, so I’m hoping I can get back in touch. Also, I wonder if we’ll be able to access our old questions and answers.

@Lonelyheart807 Based on the information on this page it appears they are intending on allowing you to regain your old ID etc.

Kinda neat. It’s been so long since the old AB days, and I’m such a different person now than I was then. I might feel better just starting over.

It would be kind of cool to find my old pregnancy announcement thread, though. The AB crowd was the first to know about it.

Unlikely, but if they rekindle the old feel & atmosphere, that would be cool.
