Are there any gas stations/convenience stores in your area that have with humorous names?

Asked by LuckyGuy (43867points) September 26th, 2016

I’ve seen Gas ‘N Glaze (they sell donuts and gasoline), Fill ‘er Up (gas station that sells overpriced convenience food and snack) and that got me thinking There must be many with clever and humorous names.
Do you know of others?

This is not their title but there was a gas station/coffee shop in Andover, NJ that had a sign “Eat here, Get gas!”

@Seek One of the guys I know had a particularly bad battle with prostate cancer. He had his testicles, bladder sphincter and the nerve bundles that control erections removed, leaving him incontinent and with total ED. To mitigate the problem he had an artificial sphincter and an internal penis pump installed both of which have bulbs that are placed inside the scrotum.
He threatened to have a tattoo done in the appropriate place that had arrows pointing to the correct bulbs labeling them Come and Go.

A lazy (or maybe efficient) person bought a gas station in my brother’s neighborhood and called it “itgo”. Because it required only removing the C from the Citgo sign.

There’s a record store in my neighborhood called Logan Square Hardware. You can guess what the previous business was in that storefront.

I know there are Curl Up and Die salons in more than city. We have on called “I’ll Cut You!”

All over Pa. there are convenience stores called WAWA. Not exactly hilarious but it is odd enough to give newcomers pause.

But once there for the first time, people will definitely return because they really do have good quality food and coffee. Definitely magnitudes greater than 7/11. Kickass Mac n cheese, great deli meats and fresh donuts each day.

And the name comes for the town in which their first store and corporate offices are located.

I really miss them.

@Buttonstc We have WaWa in NJ too.

I LOVE WAWA SO HARD.

They started showing up here about three years ago. It’s fantastic. Good espresso beverages at a third of the price of Starbuck’s. Get a loaded everything bagel with veggies for $2.

Best. Gas station. Ever.

@janbb

That’s cool that they’re expanding. I so wish they would expand out to Mich.

I miss them so much. Their coffee was just so incredible and they had real half and half containers instead of that fakey hydrogenated creamer crap. And they never hassled me if I got a few handfuls to put in my store bag.

Quality fast food is hard to come by. They need to demolish all the 7/11 s and replace them with a WAWA.

@Seek

In addition to not price gouging on the coffee, they don’t over roast and burn the coffee beans the way Starbucks does.

@Buttonstc Preach it, sister!

Wawa must be an east coast chain ey?
Nothing like that here in CA. as far as I know.

Buttonstc's avatar

@Coloma
Yeah. They haven’t even gotten as far as Mich. yet so if they ever get to Calif. It will be a while.

But with their reasonable pricing, superior food quality, cleanliness and customer service I think they’ll blow everything out of the water wherever they go as soon as word of mouth spreads.

@Seek
It’s just so great to find fellow WAWA lovers. I miss them so badly.
