Are you watching the presidential debate tonight?

I am. I did notice that Trump is doing that sniffing thing again that he said was a set up last debate. Other than that, I’m pretty bored with it.
What is your take?

I have it on while I’m Fluthering. I wasn’t going to watch it but there’s not much else on and I don’t feel like reading. I hate contention and I hate this political bullshit – it’s all spins and sound bites.
No can do. I’ll read the Monday morning quarterbacks.
I can’t get it from where I am. I’d appreciate a blow-by-blow account if anyone is interested in giving one. Jokes and snide remarks are welcome.
I’m listening on the radio. Trump won’t answer the questions and he interrupts a lot. He’s giving a laundry list of false accusations that play well on right-wing blogs and AM hate radio.
No. Hillary will be the next president because it’s her turn (electoral votes should be eliminated)...I hope I’m wrong.
I’m voting for Trump.
I wish not to debate with people that support the Dems.
OK. Fine. What’s happening?
Trump won’t tell what his strategies are for anything. He keeps rattling about nothing.
Live commenting on it both on Facebook and in @johnpowell’s chatroom.
Trump sounds a lot like the cafeteria of the Alzheimer’s unit at the old folks’ home. Sec’y Clinton looks like she’s embarrassed to even be involved in this nonsense.
My friends on FB are commenting about his sniffing.
“Mr. Trump, you tweeted at 3AM telling people to check out a sex tape. Is that good discipline?”
“Benghazi! Benghazi! Benghazi!”
“Justice Scalia – great judge. I am looking to appoint judges like Scalia.”
No, not at all interested and besides, I am doing something more important. I am part of the CLA The Chicken Liberation Army and my 2 neighbors and I have been stealing another neighbors malnourished and neglected chickens. I am the chicken runner. They were passed off to me and I run them to the safe zone. haha
I’m watching. Can’t wait for the election to just be over.
I watched it. Now I’m listening to Sky News and they have people calling in to say whether they’ve made a decision on who to vote for – most are saying Trump.
About 6–2 so far.
Who do you think won the debate?
Clinton. In terms of who I’d vote for – Clinton. She spoke about the issues more and came across as more rational.
Who won from a general perspective? Trump was better at grabbing the attention and keeping hold of the microphone. While rational viewers would recognise the rhetoric and bullshit, some people would go with his attacks on Clinton. He sidestepped criticism of his attitudes towards woman.
Thank you. Are you getting this in Australia?
How many times do I have to yelL “ANSWER THE FRIKKIN’ QUESTION!!!” before the question is actually answered.
Give the so called moderators air horns to use any time a candidate strays from or embellishes their answer to the actual question.
@rojo Chillax bud. It’s just not that serious.
I can’t watch it live from here, but I’m going to keep an eye on the news report. And I also follow this question for more insight.
I thought all that tequila I consumed would help me chillax. Evidently not.
you should not take a shot every time Trump tells a lie
@Espiritus_Corvus, I could watch it live here. I only remembered because I got a news story from CNN saying it was about to start. I only saw the Fox News option, but when they started their commentary I looked for something else and found Sky News (not that I think it was any better than Fox really).
Trump – sniffed like he’s putting half of Columbia up his nose every night. Stalked Clinton around the stage like he was about to (locker room talk). Interrupted constantly. Rambled on and on and on while completely avoiding the questions and saying a lot of nothing. Whined about the moderators. Sounded like he’s not even on speaking terms with his running mate.
The best part of the whole fiasco was the summation given by Bob Schieffer after it was concluded. .
He has witnessed more debates than any of us can count and leave it to him to tell it like it is. I hope someone has posted a clip on YT. Priceless.
If you couldn’t get the debate but want to see it, here are a couple of links—I’m assuming they work internationally, though maybe not, I’m not quite sure how that works
CNN’s online replay on CNN.com
NBC’s online replay on YouTube
CNN’s is nice because if you hover over the video scrubber, you’ll see hover-over text that tells you the topic of each portion of the debate.
All of you with Twitter might’ve already seen this—but I ran into it without a Twitter so I figured it was big enough to add to this thread:

Sorry. I didn’t see this question when I asked mine.
I hated it. It was another low point in US history. Name calling, and insults. No substance. Just two people trying to play gotchya.
I watched the Packers with my husband and to keep an eye on my fantasy opponent’s player. I beat my opponent and I’m still in 1st place in my league. woohoo
^ And you had a much more enjoyable evening than I did watching that useless debate.
^^ And I was reading a good mystery.
^ Was it called ” The Mystery of the Red Haired Renegade?” haha
