Does my dog know she's not getting as much as our other dog?

I have two dogs, a border collie and a white German shepherd.

Dakota, the shepherd, is getting old. We don’t know how much longer we’ll have her. :( When I’m handing out leftovers, like pork chops and stuff, I always give Dakota more than I give Dutchess. Do you think Dutchess knows this?
