Please break it down by running/aerobic and weight training.

Whatever you like. I like upbeat stuff for exercising. I often clean house to oldies pop music.
There used to use ghastly stuff at gyms in the 80s. (I was never big on disco.) I still hate “Let’s Get Physical” and “Magic,” because the trainer played them all the time in my aerobics class.
techo for running
Metal for weight training
Thanks for the responses.
But if I can clarify, can responders please recommend particular bands/albums that work for them?
I like Daft Punk for workouts – they’ve got very steady beats and usually longer than average songs. Any album will do (Homework, Discovery, Human After All).
I second the vote for Daft Punk.
Daft Punk’s Alive 2007 album is also very good. It’s a live performance of Daft Punk remixing almost all their songs. I find that it’s good for running because the music/flow never stops during the performance.
Bands like P.O.D (albums: Satelite and the Pick of Destiny), and Linkin Park (Minutes to Midnight and Hybrid Theory) uplifting and motivating bands to listen to when performing rigorous workouts, esp. weight training.
I dig taking back sunday and say anything for working out
I download playlists from http://www.shape.com. I guess I could also make my own but these seem to do the job really well
