Why is my spray paint splattering?

I’m KILZing a chair. After about a minute of spraying, the paint started splattering out drop along with the mist. Why is it doing that?

The nozzle is getting clogged up, turn it upside down and spray till no paint comes out then try again.

Keep in mind that spray cans need lots of shaking to keep the paint mixed. Shake EXTREMELY well before use, and shake can frequently during use.

Also don’t paint when the temperature is too chilly. That will make the paint come out blobbish.
