What are good ways to collect payments online aside from PayPal?
I have been selling my art online and I generally use PayPal, but I’m finding that a lot of people don’t have or use PayPal. What else is there?

Square. It’s good for in person and also online.
Oh also Google Wallet is one I’m seeing increasingly.
You could try Amazon payments which I’ve seen other sites use and and have used myself as a customer without any hassle. Don’t know if it’s good value as a retailer though.
On a personal note I have problems with PayPal even if I just try and use it to process card payments. It never accepts my card and gets very upset with me for not having ano account.
The trouble is, people who won’t set up a PayPal account to pay you are unlikely to choose a more obscure method of payment. It’s a trust issue. Unless you can find a way to accept credit cards or direct payment, you might have to just let go of those customers.
My mom does online business. She will let customers mail her checks if they’re super phobic of the internet. It slows everything down of course, but it is one solution to the problem.
Venmo, Square including Square Cash, and Google Wallet are all good. I have never used them as a business transaction. For personal transactions, if you’re willing to wait 2 days for the transfer, there are fees.
I have done checks with some buyers, I admit that it isn’t my favorite, but I accept them in some situations. I hadn’t heard of or tried the others, thanks!
