Any ideas, or even direct knowledge, of why Google Chrome keeps crashing on my Windows 7 pro computer?

I am reasonably tech savvy, but I may have reached the limit of my capability. Anybody know anything I need to know about this?

Here use the Google Crash repair page. You should be able to use the steps to get to the solution.
Have you:
cleared all cache?
deleted all extensions and plugins? ( you can re-install them later)
maybe uninstall it and reinstall it?
Chrome stopped working for me all of a sudden several months ago. I finally gave up, but maybe this Q will help me put it back! GQ.
Easiest would be probably what @elbanditoroso suggests just uninstall it then reinstall it.
Uninstalling will probably retain your profile. That is where the majority of your problems will be.
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
I would probably just rename your profile and hopefully Chrome will make a new fresh one. Then if that doesn’t crash move over you history and passwords and bookmarks files. And if that is working start adding in extensions. But baby-step it so you can have a idea of what is borked.
