Well, once again they got “The Sexiest Man Alive” wrong :)
@josie That’s two GAs today. Happy Chanukah!
@flo – thanks for the link. I took a look at the page you sent.
Of the 51 covers (two don’t display), all but one is of a person (or people) that I care absolutely nothing about. That only one that was of remote interest was JFK Jr. And that’s sort of tenuous itself.
Rather than have us a play a game, why don’t YOU tell us what you think is wrong?
I think assuming that you think you saw something you think is wrong which is why you asked this Q. A not unreasonable assumption, considering the way it’s worded.
Now if I can get the answer….
Fine. Natalie Wood’s picture should have been in color on the April 25 cover.
Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” is not the sexiest man alive.
@janbb and @josie, we just saw Moana, and he’s pretty darned cute!
The error is supposed to be the factual kind. Whether there isany other kind or not.
Please just tell us so we can discuss from there! Not that I expect an enormous amount of “factual” from People.
My wife is a publisher.
She has a friend that works at People Magazine.
One day they were chatting and the friend complained that People ran a story about some heroic dog…
Apparently it’s the November 21st 2016 issue. But what is the error?
@canidmajor Why assume that I would have the answer and not you?
Gosh, I just don’t know enough about Michael BublĂ©‘s son to know if the report on his health is accurate.
Unless, of course, you are, in a rather involved and roundabout way objecting to the use of the phrase “President Trump” instead of “president Elect Trump”, which is a projection, not a mistake, also used on the cover of Time.
All of your wording leads to that assumption. You have set this up like a quiz game. Why, if you don’t know the answer, do you assume that anything is wrong on any of the covers?
@canidmajor Why assume that I _assumed _ that there is something wrong? and not for example, read the question somewhere?
Re. ”...which is a projection, not a mistake,...” I suppose that the excuse someone is feeding people. He is not the president between November 8 and Jan 20. Readers could and rightfully believe that he was the president on the date of the issue.
And Time magazine is not God,
Re. ”...also used on the cover of Time.”
And Newsweek is not God. Projection:

Oh, @flo, do get over it. If people (you????) don’t understand that the way that works, and take people magazine aa absolute (look up “literary license”) they need to broaden their information horizons.
And I assumed all that I said because (let me say it again!) your wording was very obviously leading us to that conclusion.
geez
