NSA hackers watching what you type into the search box and recording it forever in computers.
I would like Google to for once celebrate director Jules Dassin. He was a major Hollywood star in his time, until he was accused of being a communist and was forced to leave America. His movies are quite innovative beyong his time and the only reason why he is not well-known is because of his communist past. At least he could get the credit he deserves.
Mimi, I planned on watching a movie today, and looked up Jules Dassin on your suggestion.
Never on Sunday is available streaming and I thank you for the tip, it was beautiful. Dassin starred with Melina Mercouri (they married a few years later). She was wonderful and I was happy to see she won Best Actress at Cannes for this movie.
Now Rififi is on my list for another day. Thanks!
