Is it time we did something about the 50k limit?

I thought we could have a sponge Bob themed award. Seeing he loves jellyfishing.

Since you are knocking on the door @janbb what lifestyle should a 50k’r live? Penthouse? Castle? Space Station?

I’m picturing a large Shingle style house on an island off the coast of Maine. A vegetable garden out the back and a boathouse with a sailboat and a Chriscraft classic motorboat in it. A porch and patio on a cliff overlooking the rocky shoreline. A cook/housekeeper and handyman/gardener couple to help out. And lots of friends and kids and grandchildren to come for summer and weekend visits.

I hear you @janbb I have been at 38K for 2 years where it took me 2 years to get to 37 K. At this rate I will be 110 yrs old by the time I get to join you at the 50K retreat…not a large potential of fun at that age. We will get to gum our bananas together.

With such a small community, and caps on how much lurve you can give to each jelly, it seems obvious that reconstruction of the points system should be revisited.

But whenever I’ve started a Q about lurve, most opine that they don’t care about it.

Perhaps a more honest,or concrete answer to the value of lurve would make it clear to the powers that be that amendment is necessary/wanted….
