Has everyone heard the "shocking" news that the House has disbanded the $8 million Benghazi investigation.
That’s right. The arch criminal Hillary Clinton once again eludes conservative “justice”. Even conservative committee members fess to the fact that the entire show was about denying Clinton the Presidency. I’m certainly surprised. How about you?

No surprise here. Character assassination works. And the republicans are good at it.
There was never any case against Clinton
I’m just happy they let it go… You take what you can get these days…
@stanleybmanly I had not heard that. This being pursued would likely take several higher ups along with her. Not surprised.
Let it go! Let it go!
She’s not a threat anymore!
Let it go! Let it go!
Faking outrage was a chore!
Here we stand
Poised to take command
Let the Dems rage on…..
Facts never bothered me anyway.
with apologies to Idina Menzel
Why not be happy and see it as a blessing, at lease there is no hane of her being found to do wrong doing or ending up in jail.
@rojo That’s was awesome.
Yeah…the shock wore off a while ago and it was the findings of those hearings that concluded in June of this year is what scuttled Hillary’s trustworthiness and the subsequent unrelentless pummeling by the Right of this narrative that ultimately sunk her ship. Glad all the noise is over for now.
The final report and official shutdown occurred just yesterday. Space had to be cleared on the docket for the all but guaranteed upcoming Trump impeachment hearings.
Now your just teasing us.
But that would be a Christmas wish come true.
Maybe not THIS Christmas, but do you actually think that he can carry on as he does and get away with it for 4 whole years?
I don’t know the majority of his voters the white male American red neck ain’t the smartest creature in the land, but time will tell.
GW was an apt demonstration of our collective handicap in being “slow to catch on”, but Trump’s penchant for scandal pretty much guarantees a show sufficient to convince the dimmest of us of our big mistake and SOON. Depend on it.
Don’t mistake my prediction of the Gump fkn up as a desire to watch a catastrophe play out in front of me. I’m simply saying there is scant evidence that things should be otherwise.
@stanleybmanly “I’m simply saying there is scant evidence that things should be otherwise.” I would say you need to expand your news source horizons beyond Circus News Network and the Washington Post then. I will clue you in…Trump is filling his cabinet with the biggest power brokers and deal makers our country has to offer. Yesterday he met with Bill Gates who after his meeting likened Trump to JFK and had this to say…
“But in the same way that President Kennedy talked about the space mission and got the country behind that — I think that whether it’s education or stopping epidemics, other health breakthroughs, finishing polio, and in this energy space — there can be a very upbeat message that his administration is going to organize things, get rid of regulation barriers, and have American leadership through innovation be on of the things that he gets behind.”
Today he is meeting with a half dozen of the biggest most powerful Tech CEO’s. Already IBM has promised to hire 10,000 new employees based on discussions with Trump and the policies he plans to implement that will allow IBM to innovate and expand. These are hardly the actions of the buffoon you expect that man to be. It’s going to be really great to have America Great again! :)
All shucking aside, I genuinely hope your optimism is justified. But Trump as Kennedy?
^^At least for the top 1%^^
Remember Trump said he didn’t believe in a minimum wage much less a living wage, nothing is going to change for the low end worker accept maybe working longer hours for less, yeah it’s going to be great as long as your at the top of the shit pile.
@stanleybmanly Nobody was more skeptical about this election than I. At the outset I was more than skeptical of Hillary for obvious reasons. As a constitutional conservative I even more averse to Sanders, but my true skepticism was focused squarely on the Republican primary candidates. Kasich was the only candidate I thought had his head squarely on his shoulders but I knew he would have close to the least appeal to voters other than Ohio voters and hard core conservatives with very little appeal to the Independents. I had the least skepticism for Trump because I really didn’t think he could pull it off. But he apparently did his homework before entering the race as his message hit head on with what many many voters were wanting in the next administration including me.
The Trump presidency is going to be the classic look at what he does and not at what he says.
@SQUEEKY2 Yes I will benefit greatly by Trumps tax breaks and reduced regulations but so will the 2 new employees I will be able to now hire and so will my other employees and so will my customers. And so will all the people who get these new high paying tech jobs, so will the union steel workers who will get their jobs back. A YUGE swath of the middle class workers, the rust belt, the very voters who elected Mr. Trump will benefit….honestly I believe we all will benefit in a meaningful positive way. I am off to Drudge and Twitter to see what other miracles Trump has pulled off.
I truly hope your right, but I have serious doubts, but time will tell I guess again I truly hope your right on this.
I call bullshit. Trickle down economics has NEVER worked. And NEVER will.
If @Cruiser holds true to his word, and hires two new employees, he’ll be in the minority. Most will simply buy more toys,or hide the new money in offshore tax shelters (where it benefits nobody.)
Trump’s planned tax breaks for the 1% are nothing but the greedy helping the greedy. They don’t need that extra money. They’ll get to use it to decide weather they want marble, or granite counter tops in their summer home. The poor will have to make decisions about weather to eat, or buy gas to get to work.
10,000 new employees at IBM. That’s a big number. Bigger numbers are deporting 11 million people, and taking away health care for 24 million Americans. Unless Trump continues to back pedal ALL the way out of his ridiculous campaign agendas…
He was a lunatic during the election. Now he’s already hinted that he may re-nig on several of the biggest issues he stood with , pissed off China, and openly questioned the CIA’s validity before he’s even taken office. He needs to stop stroking his ego on twitter, and get serious. He’ll soon have to do something he’s never had to do before. Be accountable for his rhetoric, and actions.
In January, all his bullshit will hit the fan. I hope the world has umbrellas.
Oh yeah. Trump is like JFK! LMAOROG!!!!
Let’s look at just one example where Trump.wouldn’t be JFKish.
Heard of the Cuban missile crisis? The world was on the brink of nuclear war. An exchange between the USSR and the US would effectively screw the Earth for hundreds of years. JFK had many advisors pulling him in different ways. In the end it was his calm level head, that kept the nukes from launching everywhere. Ever heard of Trump described as level headed? Please… If Trump were in JFK’s shoes then, the world would be a smoking ruin…
His stupid mouth, and little man complex are what scare me the most. He’s not playing with house money.
All the hatred , and disbelief in Trump is his fault. His poorly chosen rhetoric, and tact have most sane people thinking he’s a egotistical, abnoxious, entitled , scumbag who is in WAY over his head. He dug this hole for himself…
Now, the world is holding its breath as time turns the handle on the jack in the box that will open soon. We’ll see what jumps out.
See I really hope @Cruiser is right, but tend to agree with @MrGrimm888 more just because of the way King Trump spouts off about everything.
But time will tell.
Yes. Time will tell. I would LOVE to be wrong about everything…
