How would you like to be remembered once you are gone?

Death is something everyone is aware of but don’t like to talk about it. How would you like to be remembered by coming generations?

I don’t think I’ll be remembered for much except by family and friends. There are some legacy items that will remain when I’m gone but it’s stuff most people would not be interested in finding the history of. I think history remembers those who deserve it the least sometimes. There are so many untold stories of people who do good things and never get or take credit for them. We remember movie stars and socialites but not the people who defend our home, rights, build our infrastructure, farm the food we eat, raise our kids….

As a great friend, a loving and fun grandmother and mother and a person who was kind and did some good in the world. A sharer of books and a great cook. A passable artist. A person who bounced back with resilience after some pretty traumatic blows. A person who was involved with the world.

I don’t need to be remembered outside of my friends and family. I just hope they’ll think of me as someone who did her best with the cards she was given, and who tried to make a difference (regardless of how effective any of my efforts actually end up being).

I would like to be remembered through the many volumes of personal diaries I have written. What judgement the reader will make I leave to him, or her.

^^What do you write in those..just curious.

Funny, easy to get along with and a quirky outlook on life. Along with my love of animals as well.

^^ Have you been busy recently? Not so much active over here.

@imrainmaker You talkin’ to me? haha
Yes, crazy busy, cooking up a storm for 3 get togethers this week. Man, time for a little herbal essence methinks. Later, it’s not 4;20 for another 4 and a ½ hours. My just reward cometh. lol
