Gilda Radnor has never been far from my thoughts, memories, daily interactions.
It was over a decade after her death before I was without her in my life at least once a week. Gilda, and her characters, IMPRINTED themselves on my life.
Anyone have a similar experience, and will you share?

Yes… and I don’t know why but I have never met eyebrows more mesmerizing than Bela Lugosi’s.
I’ve been charmed but I don’t recall ever feeling bonded.
Yes, I feel like a sister to Jodie Foster.
All the time.
If sports players count, I was recently put through some pain.
I’m a Raider’s (NFL) fan. Our quarterback sustained a broken leg 2 games before the playoffs. We sucked since 2002… Finally were doing well, in no small part to Derek Carr. He’s a good kid. He brought us back in the 4th quarter several times this year, and he’s the future of the franchise.
When he got injured, it hurt me as if it were a family member.
Today we lost to Houston, our first playoff game in forever.
The team just isn’t the same without him….
I was even sad when Tom “the cheat” Brady got injured several years ago. Even though I HATE his guts…
Regretfully I never met Frank Sinatra (though I did once see him in concert and know an actor who worked with him on “Magnum P.I. years ago) but I’ve been “bonded” to his singing since I was a boy.
“Bonded” and closely following, as in the example of Gilda Radner? No.
I’ve admired some, for example Diana, Princess of Wales, but not bonded.
No. Not that I can think of.
Tom Hanks!
-went to Sac State (I’m from Sacramento)
-is part Portuguese (I’m part Portuguese)
-looks kind of like my dad and is my dad’s age

I sure hated to lose Bill Paxton. I wasn’t bonded to him, but I certainly would have been open to the opportunity.
Maybe ever so slightly bonded. :-(
