Why are explosions awesome? (Details )

I was just watching an action movie. In one scene there was an explosion, I was like “yeah, explosions are awesome!!! ”

A few months ago I spent a half hour on U tube, watching nuclear explosions.

People like fireworks. So I’m not (I don’t think ) some weirdo by being entertained by it.

I once asked Fluther “Why are things beautiful? ”

I’m curious. Why do humans seem to find enjoyment in this chemical reaction?

Is it like a moth to a flame?

Is it simply curiosity?

Are we sadistic, or born to be entertained by destruction?
