How does a college pick who they are going to send emails to?

Asked by SergeantQueen (12996points) January 11th, 2017

I made an account on a college site, and I put that my possible interests for careers are aviation, law, psychology, or military. I keep getting emails from colleges that are liberal arts colleges or catholic/religious schools. Do they actually look at who is interested in what or do they just send emails at random?

There is a lot of overlap in what you listed as interests and the types of schools sending you emails. And, some schools send emails to anyone they can.

Best of luck finding a school that is a good fit for you.

Your interest in psychology will connect you with about every college at least here in the US in that most colleges offer psychology programs.
