Outlander Fans: if you knew you were going back and knew you only had one suitcase sized bag what would you bring?

A history book or loads of notes from several history books. I don’t know if I could memorise all the facts I’d need to make the trip successful. Also, feminine hygiene products. I’m not ‘going on the rag’ the way they had to back then. Matches.

Contraceptives. Claire conceives much too often. Yes, I know that children are the hallmark of Claire and Jamie’s timeless and eternal love, but really?

What’s the time frame of the story? I’m not terribly familiar. Scotland in the 17th century?

Antibiotics, a small belt powered sewing machine, a book on Scots Gaelic, as much silver as I could get my hands on, a Zippo and a bottle of fuel, and vitamin c supplements.

I’m sure there’s more but that’s all I can think of at the moment.
