Uh, didn't Trump WIN the election?! How can this "new leader of the free world" justify wasting valuable governing transition time carping about alleged voter fraud?

Asked by Pachy (18610points) January 25th, 2017

P.S. I know the answer. I just feel like reading a bit of Fluther-esque Trump-bashing today after reading he’s now threatening to launch a “Major Probe” into debunked illegals vote.

This is just one of the many time wasters that will be thrown in front of him. (Similar to the Birther BS he tossed out to the previous POTUS.)
Next he’ll be hit with his “best inauguration attendance ever”! (NASA has the data as does kayak.)
Then he’ll be hit by court cases from all the people his (sorry, his son’s) businesses aren’t paying for work they did on his properties.
Then conflict of interest charges.
Then his definition of a wall. “It will be a 20 ft high wall.” “It will be a fence.” “It could be something electronic.”
Then the Pussy brigade.
Then Putin’s Patsy scandal…

I’m waiting for someone to find porn pictures of his 3rd wife.
Remember the hilarious meme stating Michelle was a man? Hilarious stuff. Now it’s his turn in the barrel.
What a tragic waste….

Oh, and all the debunking of the 2 million dead voters BS.
The CDC data shows 2.6 million Americans die each year. Assuming about ⅔ are registered you can easily see how there will be 2 million dead people on the voting roles.
That does not mean they voted nor did anyone else in their name.
There was one documented case of voter fraud. ONE. And it was a Trump supporter.

He is definitely a megalomaniacal control freak. I find it humorous that he can’t take criticism of any kind, from any and ALL levels. (One of his buddies is around here somewhere…)

wouldn’t it be precious (and ironic) if the investigation revealed that more people voted for Hillary than it was thought at first count?

This inability to switch the focus from himself does not bode well for the country.

Voter fraud is not the problem. They will find little to no evidence of such.

Now Vote manipulation THAT is a problem.

they will not find evidence for this either because they will not look for it

He doesn’t know what else to do. He’s doing what he knows how to do. Unfortunately that isn’t much.

One thing he doesn’t know is how to behave when he has to answer to someone other than himself. Another thing he doesn’t know is how much his problem is showing.

I feel the bite of irony every time I see a mention of the taxpayers with respect to this administration—because he isn’t one.

Before the election I thought he might take defeat badly. It never occurred to me he might take victory badly. Like most dictators he would feel more comfortable psychologically with 99.9% of the vote.

@AnonymousAccount8

That would be great.

How about if Hillary won so many more votes, that she won the Electoral College?

He has plenty of time to spend on the voter fraud speculation. He isn’t going to waste six hours a day talking about it. Especially if it can’t be proven in which case he should just ”stop it!

Egads, folks. Voter Fraud HAS been estimated by independent research to be between 38,000 and 5 million. Most of these fraudulent voters were organized efforts of people who voted in more than one precinct —some as many as five precincts. Some of these were illegals or whose citizenship was not legit but were permitted to vote anyway. Barrack Obama even said that the “sanctity” of the vote was all that mattered, not the citizenship or credentials of the voter..

Trump doesn’t know what to do or can’t do anything else? Others of you are afraid he is doing too much, accomplishing too much, in his first week in office.

Recounts? Every place it has been done, more voted for TRUMP than was originally counted.

The three million votes that Clinton had over Trump—most were in southern California. If all California votes, for Trump or Clinton, were taken out of the count altogether, Trump would have won the popular vote by 1.2 million,

But Trump has enough electoral votes that even the massive number of California electoral votes didn’t swing the election.

Go on and bash Trump if it makes you feel better, But some of the extremism really shocks me. You might be better assured if you at least saw what the other side is saying, and the evidence behind their convictions.

rojo's avatar

@Yellowdog where do you get your alternative facts? From everything I have found voter fraud runs between 3 and, I don’t remember, 38 people maybe. Just to start, can you point me to a single verifiable account of voter fraud in this election?

Tropical_Willie's avatar

@rojo ^ The “voter fraud” was proven at the press conference where there were no reporters. JK

Anyone who takes anything Trump says at face value is making a grave mistake and if you take everything he says at face value then there is no hope.

Yellowdog's avatar

I got my specific information from Pew Research. The information was good enough for a regular university grad program so it ought to be good enough for you. However, you can check the accuracy by seeing how the excessive Clinton elections in southern California, way disproportionate to the rest of the country (where Trump won the popular vote even in the traditionally Democratic areas) The overwhelming favority of Clinton always overlaps the areas where there are the most undocumented and illegal aliens, and extremely in favor of Clinton in “safe cities”.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

@Yellowdog Don’t blame Clinton, for what is happening!

Espiritus_Corvus's avatar

@Yellowdog.

Your statement concerning 38k to 5M fruadulent individual voters really requires specific citations to the Pew Research studies you refer to in order to be beilieved. I think FOX, CNN, the LA and NY Times, and the Wall Street Journal might find this interesting.

And I think Sean Spicer might find this data extremely helpful right now.

So how about it? Cough it up.

I think its already known and being dealt with.
