What is Blade Pot Roast Boneless, Sterling Silver?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24945points) January 29th, 2017

I had it last night and for lunch today, and I liked it. Why is it named Sterling Silver?

Sterling Silver is the brand name, I think you know that. Blade Pot Roast is a Chuck Roast usually tasty and with a lot of connective tissue. Thicker cuts need to be cooked in liquid for a long time, used for Pot Roast dinner

OK I asked the butcher. He said it means more fat. It only comes to Sobeys in my town.

They give it that name so they can charge more and you will be more likely to pay it.

@RedDeerGuy1 Pot roast is my culinary weakness and if it is on a menu I will always order it. Sounds like it was worth it and that is all that matters.
