What will you bring to our picnic?

Asked by Patty_Melt (17519points) February 5th, 2017

I haven’t had to deal with a lot of snow this winter, but the cold is bringing me down.
Let’s plan a picnic. We will all gather in a rolling, sunny park, lakeside. All flies and mosquitoes are banned for life. The ants are strictly bound to ground score only.
Each jelly can bring one standard picnic basket.
Please describe what you have chosen to bring and share with your fellow jellies.
If you have a special basket you love, describe that also.
Beverages are covered, in great quantity and variety, but you are welcome to bring anything you believe is special or rare.

I’ll carry a suitcase. There will be anti-mosquito lotions for everone, and two electric rackets. We can play “killer badminton”. Just go to a mosquito-infected area and play badminton and enjoy the sound of the rackets hitting mosquitoes.

And a machine gun to ward off wild animals and thieves.

Homemade tzatziki and salsa. Hummus, too, if I’m feeling like it.

Tzatziki and salsa, either one, can go with whatever the other one can’t. (And I use them both on my own burritos.) Hummus is just fine if the weather is warm.

It’s not a picnic without bugs anymore then a coming of age adventure isn’t one without not actually enjoying the adventure. I’ll bring slowly cooked demon heart and eye of dragon.

Maybe some deviled eggs, too. It’s been a long time since I’ve made them, but they’re always good.

^ Oooh, I love deviled eggs and make some good ones, I might have to do that in the next few days, it’s been forever.

In line with what @ucme has suggested, I could bring a caterer.

Coloma's avatar

We need Champagne too! Gotta have Champagne, we’ll let @ucme Chauffeur drive us home.

I’ll also bring some home brewed beer, some clear stuff with a kick too if we have any takers on that.
