[Fluff time] What are the top three items in your fridge that goes bad or spoils more than not because you never seem to use it fast enough?
Of the items in your fridge, which ones do you buy often enough but also end up tossing before it gets used, or greatly used because after you buy it, you really do not use it, for instance, milk, fruit, cheese of eggs, etc.?

Milk, leftovers from a so-so meal, condiments like salad dressing.
Cream-based sauces.
Pickled capers or pimento-stuffed green olives long forgotten in the back.
Heavy Cream
Not much gets a chance to go bad. I can usually find a use for most left overs. I can drink a quart of cold milk right out of the bottle while standing in front of the refrigerator, so it rarely gets a chance to go bad. Love milk.
Lettuce, green onions, and grape jelly.
I am really careful about managing food in the fridge, but I am often caught overlooking chip dip, lettuce, and salad dressing.
Canned goods, leftovers that I don’t plan to eat, bread and oranges.
Bread, lettuce/spinach, and radishes. I buy radishes, but I can’t eat an entire bunch of radishes before they go bad and I don’t even want to try. They’re hard to buy in small quantities.
Severed heads, but they’re usually already rotten when I put them in there.
Severed heads, heads of lettuce, seems like those are things people should avoid in the fridge.
Cucumbers
They tend to go flaccid before I can eat them all. My wife simply buys too many of them.
Yogurt
My daughter always wants it to make smoothies, but then never has the time to make smoothies.
Juice
My wife and I can’t drink it, yet she keeps buying it for my daughter, who never drinks it.
I usually have a pretty empty fridge. But I never buy large amounts of milk. Just don’t drink it enough. If I’m in the mood, I usually buy almond,or soy milk. They usually have a much longer shelf life…
