Which one is better for buying ? Lenovo Ideapad 510 Ci5 7th Gen OR Asus k556U Ci7 6th Gen?

The ASUS is cheaper; go with the ASUS.

I just bought a Lenovo ideapad 300 a couple months ago and really like it. It has a 17.5 inch monitor , Intel corei3 and has more features than I will ever use. It is my 1st Lenovo and so far nothing but good reviews from me. The battery life could last little longer but otherwise zero complaints.

What will be the main purpose of the purchase?

@Coloma I also just bought my first Lenovo under a year ago, but it’s the worst laptop I’ve ever had. The model specs and purpose can make a big difference re. customer experience.

@dappled_leaves Yeah, everyones experience will be different. Nice quality for a decent price IMO. Actually I was wrong the monitor is 17.3. Anyway, so far I really like it but am just into browsing the web, watching movies/videos, emailing, very basic stuff, I don’t do any gaming or anything major so it suits me well.
