Why does Vegeta keep destroying his items?

The fusion earing and the power level glasses. Sorry I don’t know their official names.

Potara Earrings and Scouters.
The first scouter because it became useless to gauge Goku’s power level after he raised it to over 8000.
The second one to taunt Dodoria, because at that point, Vegeta had learned to sense energy, while Freeza and his henchmen still could not sense energy, and required scouters to locate the Namekian villages. And prior to that, one of the Namekian village elders destroyed all of the scouters.
And the Potara earrings, because he could not stand the thought of fusing with Goku again.

He also destroyed that power gauging thing when entering the tournament, sent it crashing against the wall. Because it’s Vegita. I love that part.
