An elected official esp. a president, can’t just choose the ones that approve of him no matter what, even if it’s what’s called _unofficial
press briefing_ or media gaggle Is that even good for the president?

Welcome to Trump-Land.

Where lies are common and “Fake news” is videos of Trump doing things he said he didn’t do.

It’s Orwellian if you ask me.

If a “news” source knowingly publishes, or in some cases hass been shown to be the source of, false or libelous material intended to mislead to lie to the public, then they are disqualified CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, and the Washington. Post have generated more than 130 false stories since January They can publish what they want, so its not Orwellian. Just don’t ex[ect them to have the same privileged access granted to more legitimate news sources

@Yellowdog I would agree with you apart from the “130 false news stories’’. Where is that coming from?

@Yellowdog please state your own sources, please so we can check for errors.

Fact Check specialists have determined that ⅔s of what Trump himself says is false or mostly false. http://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-trump/

Also, very fucking ironic for the man who funded and pushed the ‘Birther Movement’ for years.

There is such a mechanism.

It’s called the status quo.

@Yellowdog, I’m not referring to the press (liberal, conservative or unbiased) as Orwellian. I’m actually referring to the attitude of the Trump administration toward the press media, especially news media, whether it’s print, broadcast, online or broadcast.
