Not really, but maybe with some make up she can pull it off. But her face is too long. But I have seen some Korean women on K-dramas that have a longer face and rounder eyes like your friend.
I think there is a more urgent requirement. Can she sing in Korean and sing well?
She looks looks like my daughter, who’s from China — so there’s that.
She does look like Asian..
Also, Chloe Bennet (formerly Chloe Wang) was a KPop Idol before becoming an actress (Agents of SHIELD), and I don’t think she looks any more Asian than your friend.
She;s very cute! I say, go for it.
She easily looks Asian or Hispanic, which often is difficult to tell apart, because the indigenous people in Latin America probably originated from Asia when the continents were attached. With make-up she can definitely pull off Asian. I’ve seen Caucasian-European-American women pull off geisha with all of the make-up.
In the first two pics she looked Hispanic to me. In the last pic she looked more Asian. Either way, becoming a pop star is a pretty lofty goal, so I hope she has a backup plan too.
A little hard to tell from those angles, but she looks Filipino to me.
@ARIRI98 Her eyes “lock it in” for me.(epicanthic folds) She’s Asian. Go for it!
ahh yes. she does sing very well, and she dances too. thank you all for your answers! and if it doesn’t work out, she may try to pursue art or something :)
* asks “Does she look Asian?” *
* doesn’t show an image where her face can be clearly seen *
@sneki95 im pretty sure those pictures are clear enough if 8 people can say if she looks asian or not.
“Native American” came to my mind, right off the top. Native Americans are descended from Easter Asians. She’s very pretty. Beautiful eyes.
I’m curious now. What is her genetic heritage?
She’s an attractive young woman, and her nationality doesn’t matter to me, nor should it to anyone else. There may be any number of impossible conditions for her to meet in order to achieve her ambition of becoming an entertainer of any note and renown, not to mention her far loftier target of being ‘a K-pop idol’. She needs to meet many other criteria first, before she worries over-much about whether her DNA matches (or is perceived as matching) her audiences’. Let her worry about her talent, her act and her performances for now, and let her ethnicity be part of her mysterious allure.
^I think she has problems most westerners wouldn’t understand.
