Crockpot chicken cacciatore.
why do you date your questions and comments like that, @Dibowac78NN?
Sushi as much as possible, and, on occasion, a good lasagne. I think Garfield would approve.
Lobster tacos for lunch.
Grilled Lamb chops with asparagus for dinner.
Huevos Rancheros for breakfast.
Everything that’s edible, but especially potatoes and fish.
Everything! I’m a total foodie, it;s a wonder I don;t weigh 300 lbs. haha
I love my spaghetti sauce and home made chicken sandwiches, sushi rolls, chinese, pizza, meatloaf, and almost all sweets, ice cream, pie, cookies and coffee ice cream!
OMG..i am so hungry, the cottage cheese, banana and little handful of almonds I had for breakfast just isn’t cutting it now. haha
There is no way to make this a short list. I love almost everything. I love fresh fruit. I like vegetables, cooked and raw. I love well prepared meat. I love specialty foods like fine chocolate. I adore seafood.
I like eating. I like the communal aspect of sharing a meal. It’s delightful.
I have got to try sushi. I’ve always avoided it. It just seemed gross.
@Dutchess_III You don’t have to eat any raw fish, there are all kinds of delicious sushi rolls like cream cheese with crab meat or shrimp that is cooked and avocado, rolled in sticky rice. I like the seared tuna in different sauces, it is seared enough to not be totally raw and very thinly sliced, not like a giant chunk or raw fish. haha
I love seafood especially shell fish. The best ever shell fish was lobster we caught scuba diving, toweled off and threw them on a hot grill. Same trip we put lines in the water motoring between dives sites and caught Mahi Mahi, quick fillet and onto the hot grill….Oh MY GOOD! Visiting my brother in Washington we would drive to oyster farms and get a five gallon bucket of oysters just raked out of the ocean…best oysters ever. Probably the best was when my dad drove us out to the gulf ocean in his boat and we snorkeled and harvested bay scallops. A ton of work to shuck and pluck those little morsels….but oh so good. After those experiences, anything other than fresh seafood is an utter disappointment.
I eat crab Rangoon. I love it. I eat shrimp. I have never eaten Sashimi (I just learned something. We have been misusing the word sushi.)
I have never eaten raw fish, but so many people rave over it I guess I need to try it. If I don’t like it I won’t eat it.
Being a vagitarian it has to be beaver meat
I like shrimp. I like a good steak. I like lamb chops. I like vanilla tapioca pudding, homemade. There are a few things my grandmother made that bring me right back to her kitchen, like going back in time in a time machine.
Ooooh tapioca pudding, divine!
On different days, I would give a different answer, so I will list some of my very favorites.
Cheese enchiladas
Mushroom pizza
Aloo Gobi an East Indian dish of cauliflower and potatoes.
Kheer an East Indian rice pudding dessert made with rosewater and cardamom.
Bean and cheese burritos
Onion rings
Hot and sour soup
Peanut butter cookies
Gingerbread
Kimchi
Pumpkin pie
Oh, I just saw huevos rancheros! I could I forget that. That is my go-to dish at any restaurant that serves them.
@Coloma “Ooooh tapioca pudding, divine!”
Hell yeah sistah! With a kiss of cinnamon….yummm!
I never had bread pudding until Rick made it. It just sounded gross. But I like it.
