Following on from this question, what would be the ideal home for you to live in? What would suit your current lifestyle? Just imagine you have enough money to afford it.

One that I built or remodeled with my own hands. About 2500 sq ft, walkout basement, brick, about a half acre of “yard” and surrounded by at least 10 acres of wooded land. A large detached workshop also. Nearby lake or stream, good view of the mountains. Small pool would be nice.
One story so I don’t have to go up and down stairs to do the laundry and having my dog trying to pass me to beat me each time.
Three bedrooms so I have room for guests.
Fireplace in the living room. Eat in kitchen would be enough eating space. I don’t need a dining room.
I would like to be on about a half acre so my neighbors won’t be on top of me.
Craft room and plenty of storage in the attic.
A small, compact apartment, designed in minimalist(ic?) style. Big, wide windows that would provide a lot of daylight. No clutter and lots of space for moving freely. A living room, a sleeping room, bathroom and a small kitchen are enough. That can all fit in two rooms and the bathroom, if arranged well. Some flowers on the table, near windows, or attached somewhere on walls as a decor would be nice. I wouldn’t mind a balkony, but I’d survive without it. I’d arrange most, if not all in white and some lighter colours like some shade of purple or blue. No tv, but radio, casette player and/or gramophone are welcome. Everything is set for one person, but maybe I’d make sure to be able to arrange sleeping space for one more.
One cat, or an aquarium. Silence.
Either that, or similarily designed cottage near a river, with a small garden.
The home I would like to have has 4 bedrooms, a total of at least 3500 square feet and a 4 car garage.
If I had the land for it, I would build 5 or 6 tiny houses (but not on wheels), all connected with a covered walkway to a large “great room” structure that was an open floor plan kitchen eating area and social room, with attached amenities like a laundry room, library, gift wrap room, and storage.
The tiny houses would serve as bedroom suites.
3500 sq ft of living space with a large great room, lots of closet space, very large covered and screened patio, 3 bedrooms and a flex room with a four car garage. If there is no community pool then add in a pool for my house with a lap lane at least 50 feet.
Separate guest house, maybe 600 sq. ft., with addition garage space.
