How did you type the message above?

anonxd's avatar

It took me an hour to do so

If this is sudden and serious go to a doctor or walk-in medical center. We can’t diagnose you.

anonxd's avatar

It is not sudden and often happens.Does some one else has a clue about it?

You could be dehydrated.
You could be suffering from major stress and anxiety.
You could be menopausal if you are of a certain age.
Some medication may be making your brain feel foggy.
Are you getting enough fresh air and exercise?

anonxd's avatar

I drank about 4 glasses of water.I am a male.Yes I walk for exercise and had fresh air too. When such happens,I use coffee and it becomes fine. But it is not getting better. All that I am thinking about now is this website and browser and it feels overwhelming

See a doctor.
Get someone to help you get to a hospital or clinic.

Real question?............

anonxd's avatar

How to self help and get out of this situation?

anonxd's avatar

I just had 7up etc. and now I feel a bit better.I think that I am taking stress because I have an assignment due in 24 hours and it is by far complete

anonxd's avatar

If I go to doctor, what relevant things should I tell him?Because my brain is sill thinking very slowly

janbb's avatar

Tell him or her that this has happened before, anything you can remember about the circumstances of the happenings and exactly what you experience and what it feels like. They will ask you questions as well.

Have a nice big bowl of oatmeal for breakfast.

I’ll update after my visit to doctor

janbb's avatar

@anonxd Excellent – good luck!

Could be low blood sugar. That’s how I feel when mine gets really low.

Good luck at the doctors. Let us know how it goes.

Guys I just returned. The doctor said that I was taking a lot of study related stress subconsciously and that blood pressure, heart beat etc. was almost normal. He gave some injection for stress relieving and urged me to take rest for a day.I feel better than before (and sleepy) unless brain fog doesn’t kick in again

janbb's avatar

@anonxd Thanks for the update and good for you for going so quickly. Sounds like a not to worry too much and as he said, rest. If you are sleepy, sleep.

Wow. You saw a doctor on a Saturday in only 2 hours after asking this question!

That is incredible!

I’m inclined to agree with @cookieman; this sounds like low blood sugar. Your brain runs on glucose. While most people in Western society have an abundance (to the point of a nearly toxic over-abundance) of sugar in their diet, the symptoms you describe point in a different direction.

As @Espiritus_Corvus suggests, it’s unlikely that you had a full medical workup (including the blood analysis that would have confirmed or disproved “low blood sugar” as a problem) in the short time since you first asked this question. I don’t doubt that you saw a doctor, but I expect that the doctor’s examination was no more than superficial: height, weight, blood pressure, a superficial check to be somewhat certain that you’re not suffering from a drug overdose or bad reaction of some kind, maybe check your eyes for evidence of trauma or concussion, listen to your tale of woe about school work not done, and then send you on your way with a “diagnosis” that you’re suffering from anxiety and stress from the pending assignment.

In other words, he probably expects that you’re the same neurotic slacker that he sees day in and day out with similar stories. Except that your description of symptoms sounds more serious, and not simply the result of putting off a school assignment.

Read the “symptoms of moderate low blood sugar” at this link and see how likely that is. Try to see the doctor again (or another one, perhaps) and tell more about the physical symptoms you’re feeling – if you can stay focused well enough to do that! – and ask that blood work be done. You might set a tablet browser to this link and let the doctor read your initial question and your own responses in the thread.

In the meantime, have something to eat, and some fruit juice, perhaps.

You came to the right place

Stress and anxiety can really make it difficult to think clearly. Apart from making sure there are no underlying health issues like blood sugar etc. which should have been covered by your doctor visit, have you tried meditation? I suffer from this problem myself, although I think that’s about menopause more than anything else. I do find meditation helps me. There are lots of resources available to you to help you clear your mind and get some focus.

Time to put the bong away,
You have had enough today.

Truthfully….sit…have a glass of water and chill. Just relax…breathe. This moment will pass as they all do or you die. Nothing you can do about either…maybe there is a little wiggle room but that is all up to you. Go to Dairy Queen and have an Ice Cream Sunday and relax is my advice.

anonxd's avatar

There are doctors available on sunday, what’s so strange about it?There are separate doctors for week ends as well but they are not specialists.Yeah it wasn’t a full medical work up and it was superficial but this is all what you get here.I live in an under developed country and the medical facilities over here are inadeqaute.Maybe it was the injection together with placebo effect which made me felt better in few hours.

anonxd's avatar

I am a student and cannot afford a doctor again this month. So I am out of luck for that. The doctors here don’t bother to find the actual cause.Their goal is to control the symptom,so that patient feels relieved which is short lived solution.
@cookieman As far as blood sugar is concerned,I often eat chocolates etc. so I don’t think that this is the case with me.I have tried mediation but I feel better just for a small time after it.And brain fog easily kicks back in.
