Trivial pursuit time! (which means you can't Google) How many people have flown to space?
I have followed space news since I was five years old, but I don’t know this. I would not be surprised if my guess was far, far off.
1)
How many different people have been launched into space?
2)
How many countries are represented?
3)

1. I’m going to guess on a round number here: 150. (I’m only counting unique people, not double-counting or more for those who have participated in multiple launches.)
2. Let’s see: USA and USSR / Russia (counted as the same nation), Japan, India, Canada, France, Britain, Israel (?) – so I’m going with 8.
3. Have the Chinese launched any manned missions yet? I don’t think that India has. So I’m going to say 2, for the USA and USSR / Russia.
1) Two. Yuri Gagarin and Niel Armstrong.
2) Two. US and Russia, back then USSR.
3) Two. US and Russia, back then USSR.
1) I’d guess about 500
2) as in nationalities of people who gone to space? Quite wide spread. USA. Canada. Most of Europe. Most of the counties that were in the USSR. China. Japan. India?
3) USA, Russia, China?(maybe)
I thought between 110— and 150
I’d guess there have been about 200 people launched into space representing maybe 15 countries.
Hmmm, can’t include that teacher lady & the rest of the crew coz they were launched into the sea…err, is it 222?
@Sneki95 Neil Armstrong wasn’t alone! He was just first to walk on the moon. i think there were 3 on each space flight. Lots more came before him and after him. Then there are the space shuttle flights.
I’m going to go with…..lots. 372.
I think Russia, America and China.
^^^ You should watch The Right Stuff and Apollo 13. They are immensely entertaining as well as being true stories. They are also very educational.
I was going to guess 117 people (though I know it’s low, but for some reason that number sticks in my mind.
Nationalities I am guessing 20
And I know three countries have crewed space programs.
Here we go, per Wikipedia a space flight is “any flight above 100 kilometres (62 mi)” as defined by the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI).

It’s “about 550” as of March 2016 from this page. plus I find these later flights. 12 on Russian rockets in March, July, October, and November plus 2 from China in October.
