If you could design yourself...?

Asked by Patty_Melt (17519points) March 21st, 2017

This is not a debate of rightness, wrongness, or do-ability.
For this question, lets say genetic engineering is common, accepted, and in use fpr several decades now.
How would you want your parents to have detailed you?

I would have opted thicker, not wispy hair, slightly longer legs to match the rest of me.

So, have fun with this.

I’m an Adonis. I’m fine. I could use regeneration of teeth and quick healing.

I did. Just like Ultron.

Soooo, include details?

One of my vertebrae is incompletely formed, so I’d start with having having a full set of completely formed vertebrae.

My blood sugar is a little high, so I’d also like to have an extra pancreas.

Curly hair, fast metabolism that would make me thin (shut up, there are people who are simply naturally thin. I want that), higher intelligence, social skills, paleness/chronically white skin, charisma, a bit more determination as a personality trait, to be the only child, prettier fingers (I have male hands…), slightly lighter eye colour, absense of these hereditory bumps on my head, smaller nose, smaller breasts, smaller ass, no periods…..

Lol. Would you like an extra page?
Yeh, I think I would prefer prettier hands too.

….healthier teeth, better eye and earsight, or being selectively deaf, stronger character, better memory, asexuality…..

Some big fucking wolverine spikes please.

@Sneki95

I know of quite a few men who would find some of those things you want to change, to be very attractive.

I’d maybe turn my legs around so I could walk kinda like a bird, show off my firm butt too.
Would obviously have to wear ripped jeans but hey, I can pull that off.

@Brian1946 One more reason to want to change it.

Mimishu1995's avatar

In my ideal world I would have the ability to change between male and female whenever I like.

…Well, does it count?

Brian1946's avatar

@Mimishu1995

I’d say it counts.

Now that you’ve mentioned it, I’d like to be able to change from one species to another.

Mimi, cool! Timing could be…

Feet that aren’t agonizingly painful and teeth that aren’t 50 years too old for my head, and I’m happy.

Berserker's avatar

@ucme LOL that made my evening.

Patty_Melt's avatar

I’m thinking good placement for about six extra g-spots.
Boobs impervious to the effects of gravity or age.
20/20 vision.
Slightly fuller lips.

ucme's avatar

@Berserker Cool, then my work here is done :D

I’m trying to redesign myself, I just need more money.
At 37 my eye’s need a tune up, my teeth need a tune up,
My wardrobe need’s some updated style and Ineed to make some six-pack abs.
I could use a new car and a bigger place.
It’s expensive to try to be attractive enough to be date worthy these days and thinking about it make’s me tired. : (

Patty_Melt's avatar

Yeah, me too. ((((HUGS))))

My teeth need to get fixed.
