I would want to say no, but my daughter has been witness to lots of things at school, in public and various places where I could not control what was going on. Sometimes I have thought that at least with an acting roll she could be paid, and I could talk about context, timing, and inappropriatness with her.
Her attempts to go into the business have been unsuccessful thus far, so we haven’t had to consider any such thing. She now sees her interest in drama as a hobby.
I wouldn’t have a problem with it.
Sure. There isn’t any actual nudity in that scene, it’s safe.
Even if there were nudity I wouldn’t have a problem with it. The actors are in rooms full of adults and minders and it’s a professional environment. There is absolutely nothing sexy about it.
The implied nudity didn’t bother me at all. The casual use of the F word did. However, there have been times I’ve questioned the wisdom of adults putting kids in certain scenes, especially when they’re too young to act. If they’re screaming in terror it’s because someone did something to make them scream in terror.
There is a scene in The Fall by Tarsem which stars a young Ukranian girl where the girl was genuinely terrified in one scene. They only did one take because she didn’t want to repeat it.
Frikking brilliant movie if you’ve never seen it, actually.
@Dutchess_III She talked about the movie in later life and loved the experience. It was just that one scene.
