Are there any private parks similar in grandeur to state parks?

Not necessarily grandeur, but bigly. With decent facilities, and deep woods.
Basically a privately operated state park.

It is open for visitors through the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Possibly. In miniature. But none that I’ve seen.
There are nice places that are privately owned but rarely do they equal the size and splendor of a national or state park.
There are many company owned facilities around the country. One list is P,G,&E
