It would be a river island, preferably on Tisa.
The weather would be a nice summer breeze. The sun is bright, but not too hot. The water is clear and warm, with a lot of fish swimming around. A big white moon shines every night.
I’d be swimming in the river, listen to the birds and enjoy the early sun. My food would be the fish. Fish soup every day, straw hat all the way lol! I’d make sure to get one of them fisherman straw hats. I couldn’t survive in the paradise without that.
That’s how I’d spend my mornings.
At the very shore stands an old, giant willow, spreading its long branches all the way down to the water. I sit below the willow in my swing and listen to the old damme singing with the wind, until I fall into a calm, long dream.
That’s how I’d spend my afternoons.
When the evening comes, crickets would start their quiet, rhythmic song, and the choir of frogs would join in. The night wind cradles me in my swing, a big moon illuminates the water and the reed rumors. I’m the only one in this universe listening to this divine orchestra.
That’s how I’d spend my nights.
A few metres away from the shore, the thick forest starts. My house would be in the trees, and I’d sleep inside only in winters and if it rains. I’d hide a small garden somewhere in there too.
In the winter, the whole island would be surrounded with a thick mist. No one would get close. Everything would be dead quiet. I’d be sitting in my small tree house, eating boiled corn with salt, and watching the cold water.
That’s how I’d spend my winters.
It would be like in another universe. No one would ever come, and no one would know I live there.
