When will "Young Sheldon" be on TV?

I had a great thought for BBT. I thought one of Sheldon’s siblings should go to jail, and make him and Amee the guardians of their baby. That way they would be parents, Howard and Bernadette would be parents, Rajesh has his dog, and Leonard and Penny would be the only ones with no baby. The final episode Penny would have news.
The very last thing of the show she would answer something Leonard says. “You are going to be a father, but I am not going to have a baby.” He looks puzzled. “I am having two babies.” The camera fades out on his expression.

It is slated to be on CBS in the fall.
