I know it or the 19th is Patriot’s Day in Boston but what is 4/20 elsewhere?

Nah. But when my son moved out 15 years ago he took all the batteries out of my battery clocks and set them to 4:20.

@janbb 420 is slang for marijuana, dope, weed, ganja, pot. There is the annual marijuana smoke out in Golden Gate Park.

The term started back in the early 1970s at San Rafael High School for a group of kids that would meet to smoke a joint at the tennis courts at 4:20 in the afternoon.

Nothing special today. I did make some soap with hemp oil.

I haven’t smoked in months. But I live in Eugene so someone is probably torching a Taco Bell and tossing a CRT TV at a cop. I love it here.

I have to imagine there are festivities tonight since it’s our first 420 since legalization (MA), but they have to be relatively covert as things are still pretty locked down. I don’t think I’m celebrating tonight, personally – I’ve got other stuff to do.
