Can you help me with Maps on my iPhone?

In the Maps app is there a way to adjust the mph to the speed you typically travel? Does Maps know the speed limits of the roads and calculate using that?
Also, can I see the front view of the house or store I’m going to in Maps?

The Google Maps uses the posted speed limit, you can’t modify it.
Google Earth’s Street View will let you see the street level view.
My answer is for Android and using Google; Apple Maps I don’t know about.
You can download Google Maps for free for an iPhone from the App store. I find it better than Apple Maps.
@JLeslie: When I “google maps” something or put a trip into my GPS, I always take into account that I will beat the given time by a few minutes because I tend to be a fast driver. If it says the trip will be one hour, I’ll figure I can do it in about 50 minutes. If there’s a lot of traffic, say if it’s rush hour, I’ll adjust it in my head so that a one hour trip may be an hour and twenty minutes.
@janbb @Tropical_Willie I don’t like google maps very much, but I do have the app downloaded. I’ll have to play with it for the street view.
@jca I usually don’t beat the time I don’t think. I usually only pay attention to the estimated times on long trips, and since I usually stop once for over 2 hours, I have to add that stop in anyway. Plus, the roads near me have high speed limits. Turnpike is 70mph, I think I75 is 65 or 70 mph. Many local/rural roads adjacent to The Villages are 50–55mph. Roads that would be 35–40 in the northeast are 50–55 here.
There’s also an app called Waze that several people like. It gives you more details and rerouting. You might try that.
@janbb I tried waze and then got rid of it. I didn’t like it, I don’t remember why. A lot of people really like it.
I’m very happy with Maps for checking routes.
Both Google Maps and Apple Maps calculate ETA based on speed limits and known traffic problems.
Waze does the same thing when you start, but will recalculate based on your actual speed in real time.
@zenvelo So I can’t change the speeds based on my speed? On my navigation in one of my cars I can enter the speed I drive on the highways and local roads.
Waze must be like your GPS then. GPS will recalculate ETA based upon your progress (speed, delays, etc.).
@JLeslie No, they have no input mechanism other than destination. Then they will calculate ETA as I described.
Waze will ask you for any planned stops on your route.
