Does anyone ever escape from the chatroom?

I think they become the subjects of inter-dimensional experiments by alien quantum physicists.

It’s more like Hotel California. You can check out anytime you want, but you can never leave.

You have to click on leave room to leave.

As I recall, Chat had a 5-minute idle timeout feature. If you went to another part of Fluther without clicking on “Leave Room” and didn’t return to Chat within 5 minutes, you were marked as being Idle and ejected. Occam’s razor suggests it doesn’t work that way anymore.

I just went there and my entrance freed the previous occupants. I guess that makes me the Harriet Tubman of chat. ;-)

I’m afraid if I go in there, it’s going to capture my soul.

@Brian1946 I’ll follow the drinking gourd and keep you in my sights if I ever decide to venture therein.

Given the frequency of your chat visits, I’ll consider the sight of pigs flying over a frozen Hell to be your distress signal.

I can get in and out just fine. I can’t talk in there though. Bet my teachers would have liked that feature, back in the day.

I stay there when I travel. The chatroom is so much less costly than a hotel room, and nobody seems to mind if I hang out.

Now we know who to go to if we ever want a room cleared out!

The chatroom has become a sound-proof room. Every time I go there I’m completely mute. The exir door works just fine though. It’s like it is having a crisis and wants to be left alone :(

Apparently I’ve become the Chat room bouncer.

Actually, all I’m doing is getting it ready for @Love_my_doggie‘s next trip.

Chat is very broken. I tried to log in and I couldn’t get in AND I noticed Cazzie, SergeantQueen and others are still locked in another chatroom dimension.

The chatroom hates me @Brian1946 <whining>

One thing I notice is that I’m unable to press Enter when chatting like usual. The send button redirects me to a page. Maybe it’s something the mods can look into?

There is a small group of regular chat users.

Chat doesn’t work for me. I’ve tried over the last few days and it says there are people there, but there are not and then my name stays in there, even though I’ve left. It’s broken.

@cazzie If you hit “Back to Fluther” you will get stuck in the Chat Room, you have to hit “Leave Room” you will leave the chat room.

Maybe it’s like mansion-lite.
