Did drinking an energy drink as a kid temporarily make me sick?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24886points) April 27th, 2017

When I was 4 years old the first energy drink was made available to Canada and naturally I wanted to try it. It promised double the sugar and double the caffeine. After 10 minutes my arms hurt and I was sweating and was cold. I got very sick for a couple of hours. Was it the energy drink? I haven’t had another one in 35 years.

Damn. It sounds like you got some Jolt cola. I would never let a kid under 13 even have a sip.
Yes, a child that little could have a strong reaction to that type of drink.
It sounds like the situation traumatised you.
I’m so sorry.

If the reaction occured immediately, it most probably was the drink.
