What do you do for yourself to bounce back from a disappointment?
I’ve had a disappointment at work. I work in government, and the byzantine processes that situations take for necessary approvals are quite complex. I have been planning to conduct a training that was not approved, so now I have to start over from scratch.
I’m going to put it aside for today. At break time, I’m going to walk outside under the sun. I’ll wander down the block to sit in the Episcopal Cathedral at lunch time. I like it there; I often meditate during lunch there. (The olive trees, of which you can just see a bit of an upper branch in that picture, were planted by Queen Emma 150 years ago.)
