If Pence goes down with Trump, who's up next?
I think it’s very likely he will. They were both part of the same campaign. What will that mean for us?
And will the Electoral College be investigated?

It means we get President Paul Ryan.
And why would the Electoral College be investigated?
Because they are the only reason he got into office. They flew in the face of the popular vote. If Russia tampered with the election, it stands to reason that they tampered with the Electoral College, who was the only one who could get him elected, right?
@Dutchess_III The Electoral College (“EC”) is selected by the States, and vote as directed by the States. There was no EC vote that was in contravention of the vote by state.
It all depends on the order in which events occur, But i there is sufficient time after the. Vice Presidency is vacated, the President in office appoints a successor to be confirmed by the Senate. That is why Gerald Ford became President, because Spiro Agnew resigned 10 months before Nixon resigned.
@Dutchess_III
The Electors for each state voted in accordance with how their state went. As much as I dislike the Electoral College and feel it needs to be abolished there was nothing untoward as far as the EC goes.
So we could get the first female POTUS in Betsy DeVos… DUM DUM DUMBBBB!!! ;-P
What @Darth_Algar said, Paul Ryan
I originally read your question as “If Pence goes down ON Trump, who’s up next?”
Wow, Zaku. Way to make Paul Ryan look appealing. LOL
President Pence is not unlikely. We may need to start thinking about what that would be like.
Exchange Pence for Cent, 50 to be precise…it’s a rap!
It would be Paul Ryan as others have said (and what a goddamn nightmare that would be), but there’s plenty of dirt on him too, and some people are speculating he would also go down, in which case it’d be Orrin Hatch, a senator from Utah.
The next 4 years are going to be republican. No matter what.
@SergeantQueen
As far as the White House goes sure, but there are a lot of Congressional seats up for grabs next year. If I were a Republican I’d be hoping like hell they can remove Trump from office before he has the chance to irrevocably damage the Republican brand.
It’s a big IF the Dems take the House in 2018 and then Trump and Pence go down, then we could see a POTUS Pelosi for awhile.
