He was my favorite Bond. Farewell sir.

I loved his bond films. Very sad day.

His Bond films were brilliant because of his humour & couldn’t care less attitude & he was the second best Bond but only behind Craig, Connery stunk the place out.
I loved Moore in North Sea Hijack but can never get out of my head why Norman Bates would hold an oil platform to ransom…hey ho.

Very sad to hear, I haven’t kept up with the news much lately because of all the Trump crap. Didn’t know he had passed. Great performer, class act. RIP

He was my least favorite Bond, and was dreadful on Maverick, but he was good on The Saint.

Yeah, loved him in The Saint, and some other stuff too. Classy man.

I loved him as Bond – suave, not dark like the later Bonds.

@RocketGuy. True. Of all the guys who played Bond, Moore was Adam West.

I loved his campy Bond films. IMO 007 is an inherently ridiculous character. The Moore films embraced the ridiculousness instead of trying to take itself too seriously and make Bond out to be a “Jason Bourne” tough guy. One of the best scenes of all time.

I didn’t mind Roger Moore as James Bond. The Spy Who Loved Me was the first film I ever went to on my own with my teenage friends. I still remember the opening scene with the Union Jack parachute.

I loved him in The Saint too.
