Is it necessary to remove polyps on the posterior wall of gall bladder?

Asked by imrainmaker (8380points) May 24th, 2017

I’m going to take expert opinion on this but wanted to know if someone is aware of it. It isn’t causing any discomfort / issues as of now.

I’d be surprised if they don’t recommend removing the gallbladder.. Most likely they’re nothing more than a build of bike salts on the mucosal wall but they could be pre-cancerous cells and removing them now will save considerable problems later.

A question for your doctor.

Just to update need to wait couple of months before docs can take a decision. Currently it is insignificant but if it grows in next couple of months then might have to remove gallbladder itself. No other treatment for polyp removal…creepy isn’t it?
