@Darth_Algar Someone must have tried?. How specifically did the most recent attempt turned out? Real names preferred. In General.

No, but it’s a cool idea.

If I remember correctly, Ted Williams (former Boston Red Sox player) had himself frozen (or maybe just his head – I don’t recall) when he died.

Walt Disney keeps removing money from our checking account. Not sure if that counts as a resurrection….

Someone may have tried (not that I’ve heard of, but maybe someone has), but nevertheless it hasn’t been done. Cryo freezing is a pipe dream for people with money to burn who cannot accept their own mortality.

Only if you count embryos.

My understanding is that the technology cannot work in it’s current use. The freezing process destroys all soft tissue. There isn’t anything to thaw really. A sort of anti-freeze is being developed. They’re trying to reproduce what happens to certain frogs, that can freeze solid, and then reanimate…

( @elbanditoroso “No, but it’s a cool idea” LOL!)

Not to my knowledge no. But…we could put about 5 billion hominids in the deep freeze and if they can’t be resuscitated again, oh well. LOL

No. I would imagine that would make headlines.

Then again, like Coloma above said, not to “our knowledge”.

dum dum dum. . . .
