Glad to see I am not the only one, for a site so anal about punctuation and spelling they sure slack off when it comes to maintenance of their servers,kind of makes ya wonder.

@SQUEEKY2, before you judge too harshly, remember that they are keeping the site running solely as a courtesy to the users. Ben and Andrew both have very full real lives away from Fluther, with jobs and families, and the advertising (that you don’t see when logged in) barely keeps the place going. I appreciate that the site is still here.

The Internet is vast. There are many places that aren’t “so anal about punctuation and spelling” and don’t have these glitches.

@canidmajor name a few I just might check them out.

I don’t really know, I’m happy here, but some of my friends really like various Reddit categories, and Metafilter has been interesting. I’m sure a question here (yes, I appreciate the irony of me saying that on this question) will yield some helpful suggestions.

Oh I don’t mind giving them a break, and do see what they do for this site, but how about not being so damn anal when it comes to punctuation and spelling then, maybe a bit of give and take?

Because that is what makes this site above and beyond any other site. Punctuation and spelling is important to them.

@SQUEEKY2: I see that you’ve been here for 5½ years. Can I ask why this punctuation and spelling thing is bothering you now? If you have had some circumstance that would impair your ability to keep on top of such things, I bet the mods would cut you some slack if you contacted them and explained it.

Questions working for me now.

Why do the mods jump instantly on some jellies questions , about stupid little typo’s and other jellies have obvious mistakes that never get corrected?
I have had questions pulled because they simply didn’t like the way it was worded, nothing wrong with punctuation or spelling they just didn’t like the way it was worded.
WHY??
