The devise was originally a phone, but is now only used for games. Is it still a “phone”?

A ploy to get you to purchase another phone.
Whatever it self identifies as.
@SQUEEKY2 These are phones (unphones?) that have been replaced and passed on to the children to play games. They hook up to the internet.
Small tablet
Also with Google Voice or Skype, you can use it as a phone on wifi. Though I would understand if you specifically did NOT want that feature.
If you have a bathtub and you fill it with ice and use it as a cooler, it’s still a bathtub.
These were sold as iPod Touch. But what @flutherother said is brilliant. I’m going to adopt that.
A phone without service still has phone service for 9 1 1.
@jca I’ve seen them out in the front yard filled with dirt and plants, but you’re correct, it’s still a bathtub.
