I don’t recall any other
site but as per modern design it should take care of viewing in different devices automatically without having to click on a separate link.
As I said on your other threads, apps are developed differently from desktop websites now. (I know because both of my sons do this.) So an app will be developed for mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. The same app will be developed with different programming to work either for IOS – the Apple platform – or for Android devices such as Google and Samsung products. Web sites are developed by different programmers for desktops. Fluther having an early app developed and no further development is an anomaly in allowing you to switch. You can go to a web site on a mobile device if you don’t have the app by using your browser.
I hope this clears things up for you.
@imrainmaker I don’t understand. If I’m on an iPad and I go on Fluther, it shows up on the Mobile version (i.e the “Logout” is at the bottom of the screen etc) and I want to use the Desktop version, so I want to switch to it. What happens?

I’ve always used a browser, on tablets to go to Fluther. Fluther always showed up on the mobile version, and at the bottom of the screen there was the “Mobile” and Desktop tabs, ansd I choose which version to use. Not anymore (for the last 2 or so weeks) on some tablets.
…I mean the tabs are no longer there for the last 2 weeks or so.

It’s not every tablet it’s some of them that I don’t find those tabs on the homepage. They are there after singning in and/or on a thread. But the ones displayed in stores all have the tabs on the homepage, without doing anything.
