Every day is meatless Monday at my house, but I was wondering if people still participate in this weekly abstention of meat. I used to hear/see about it on Facebook, but not in a long time.
If so, what are your favorite meatless Monday dishes?

I am going out to do some errands. On my way home, I plan to stop by this new-ish pizza place called Project Pie. It’s one of those places where you pay a flat price, in this case $8.95, and you can have whatever toppings you want. I plan to get a pizza with roasted Brussels sprouts, JalapeƱos, fresh garlic, fresh basil, mushrooms, and ricotta. My mouth is watering right now!
Well, I’m pretty sure that cows still endorse it.
Once a week at our house, we observe ‘Tasteless Tuesday’
(but that’s a complaint for another day…..)
WTF is meatless monday and when did this come about?
So then…..(sniff).......I presume that you have no interest at all in ‘Tasteless Tuesday’ ??
(Can I call the cops…..or Trump ?..... or something here ??)
no, and not Williless Wednesdays either…..
What about ‘Thumbless Thursdays’ ??
@rojo Meatless Mondays came about around 15 years ago. It was just a way to get people to start eating healthier.
I used to see ads for restaurants showing their veggie laden dishes on Meatless Monday. Also, I used to see Facebook posts all the time with pictures of people’s vegetarian dinners, and recipes for ideas.
It wasn’t a holiday, or an official thing. It was just a way to promote healthy eating.
I just haven’t seen anything using that term in a long time.
I am a vegetarian, so it’s always meatless Monday for me.

Growing up, every Monday most of our family members didn’t smell too great due to ‘Soapless Saturday and Sundays’
