How the heck do you get rid of under-bags or dark circles?
Is there a way to get rid of dark circles under the eyes??? Is it possible? I am female in my early 20’s and I’m kind of freaking out. I’ve noticed some bags and dark circles under my eyes….
Is there a natural way to get rid of them….. even if not permanent?
I’ve heard of using ice under the eyes or even baking soda…
It’s been really affecting my self esteem.
I feel like I have to put way more makeup just to cover the dark circles….
Anyway what do you guys think can help? Should I take more vitamins or something? Thank you for any and all advice, I really appreciate it.

I don’t know but I think getting good nutrition, plenty of sleep, being outdoors enough, having enough light are probably all good ideas for this (and in general, too).
Are they bags or circles?
Bags
circles
There would be a different treatment for each. I swear I was born with bags under my eyes and when I had enough money, in my mid 30’s, I had them removed. It was a total confidence booster.
I know a young woman with dark circles under her eyes. She uses a light makeup to cover them up.
Try Preparation H on the bags. It is designed to reduce puffy tissue. It isn’t a permanent fix, but can reduce the size temporarily.
@seawulf575 I have actually read that before. But getting that in the eye would hurt like hell.
@chyna I would so love to get mine done too
Dark rings and puffy bags around your eyes can be genetic. There may be nothing you can do to get rid of them.
Make sure you are hydrated. Drink water. Get enough sleep. Eat a healthy diet. If that doesn’t help, go to your local department store or MAC or Sephora store and ask one of the make-up artists to teach you how to disguise the darkness under your eyes.
@AloraCrimson Sometimes dark circles under eyes is a hereditary thing. IT cosmetics specializes in “color correcting/covering up of areas where we can use some help. IT cosmetics stands for Innovative Technology and works with plastic surgeons and can enhance or “hide” areas needing touch ups. Good luck.
@chyna
They’re circles, just dark circles.

No one in my family has dark circles. I’ve never had them up until a year ago.
I get them if I drink too much.
Here are the ideas from when someone asked this here in 2008. :-)
