Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah! Happy Sesquicentennial, up-north guys. I’m glad to have you as our good neighbors. Please pay no attention to that man behind the White House curtain. He doesn’t speak for many of us.

Yay, Canada! My paternal grandmother was born over there.

I used to live directly north of Canada, in the US*. I miss driving over on the weekend for a very mildly exotic road trip.

* Detroit is north of Windsor. Great bar bet.

I’ve met a lot of Canadians, and never disliked one of them (maybe it’s something in the maple syrup….I don’t know)
